About Us
EverBeaver is developed and operated by Heading Zero. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, you can reach us at everbeaverapp@headingzero.com.
Data We Collect
We collect the following information when you use EverBeaver:
- Account information — your email address and display name, provided when you register or sign in with Google or Apple.
- Username — a unique username you choose during onboarding, stored to identify you to friends within the app.
- User-generated content — tasks, notes, and messages you create or receive inside the app, stored in our cloud database.
- Push notification token — a device token used to send you notifications when a task is assigned to you or updated. Stored alongside your account data.
- Subscription information — whether you have an active EverBeaver Plus subscription. Managed via RevenueCat; we do not store payment card details.
- Crash and performance data — anonymised error reports and app performance metrics collected automatically to help us fix bugs.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve EverBeaver:
- Authenticating your account and keeping it secure.
- Storing and syncing your tasks and messages in real time.
- Sending push notifications for task activity.
- Managing your Plus subscription entitlement.
- Diagnosing crashes and performance issues.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Data Storage and Access
Your todos, notes, and messages are stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database service operated by Google LLC. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google's encrypted servers.
EverBeaver uses industry-standard cloud infrastructure. Like most apps of this type, your content is not end-to-end encrypted — meaning the EverBeaver team may access content for purposes such as debugging, customer support, or investigating abuse. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except as required by law.
For more information on how Google handles data, see the Google Privacy Policy.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, tasks, messages, and all associated data are permanently deleted from our systems. Anonymised crash and performance data collected by Sentry may be retained for up to 90 days in accordance with Sentry's own data retention policy.
Your Rights and Account Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can:

If you signed in with Apple, deleting your account also revokes EverBeaver's access to your Apple ID in accordance with Apple's requirements.
