Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

Welcome to EverBeaver! By creating an account or using the app, you're agreeing to these Terms. Please take a moment to read through them — they're written to be straightforward and fair.

2. What EverBeaver Does

EverBeaver is a social task app that helps you stay on top of things together with your friends — assign todos, track progress, and chat about what needs to get done. Some features are part of our free tier, while others are available with a paid subscription.

3. Your Account

Your account is yours — please keep your login credentials private and secure. To use EverBeaver, you need to be at least 13 years old. We ask that each person maintain their own individual account.

4. Acceptable Use

EverBeaver is built around helping people, so we ask that you keep interactions respectful and kind. Please don't use EverBeaver to send harassing, abusive, or illegal content to other users. If an account is found to be in serious violation of this, we may need to suspend or remove it to protect the community.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

EverBeaver's free tier lets you get started with todos and friends right away. If you'd like to unlock unlimited todos and friends, our Premium subscription is available through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. All billing, refunds, and subscription management go through Apple or Google per their standard policies — we don't handle payments directly.

6. Your Content

The todos, notes, and messages you create in EverBeaver are yours. By using EverBeaver, you give us a limited license to store and display that content to you and the friends you've chosen to share it with — solely to keep the service running. We don't sell your content, ever.

7. Service Availability

We work hard to keep EverBeaver running smoothly, but like any software, we can't guarantee it will be available or error-free at all times. We may update, adjust, or occasionally pause features as we continue to improve the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, EverBeaver is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When something meaningful changes, we'll let you know through the app. Continuing to use EverBeaver after an update means you're comfortable with the revised terms.

Animations used in EverBeaver are sourced from LottieFiles and are used under the Lottie Simple License.

EverBeaver uses the Inter typeface by Rasmus Andersson, and Balsamiq Sans by Balsamiq, both licensed under the SIL Open Font License.

Icons provided by Ionicons, used under the MIT License.

EverBeaver is built with Expo and React Native, powered by Google Firebase.

Privacy Policy

Data Storage and Access

Your todos, notes, and messages are stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database service operated by Google LLC. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google's encrypted servers.

EverBeaver uses industry-standard cloud infrastructure. Like most apps of this type, your content is not end-to-end encrypted — meaning the EverBeaver team may access content for purposes such as debugging, customer support, or investigating abuse. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except as required by law.
